Pastor Long is a saved passionate servant of Jesus Christ with a prophetic voice for this present age. Pastor Long has been able to develop musical skills that have afforded him great opportunities to minister within the Progressive National Baptist Convention as well as the Great Commission State Baptist Convention of SC. Having his first Minister of Music position at age 18, Pastor Long was able to discover and develop the gifts and talents within himself through teaching and leading others into the presence of God through worship and prayer. While in college at the age of 19, Pastor Long yielded to the preaching call on his life.
By age 19 he had already help found and establish two churches within South Carolina with his grandfather's guidance. By willingly yielding to the will of The Lord tremendous opportunities have allowed him to travel throughout the United States conducting revivals, conferences, and worship services.
The Lord furthered his impact and influence with the opportunity to work for the Stellar nominated Internet radio station, Gospel Impact Radio; his voice has been broadcasted to four continents and many countries. Having such exposure has afforded Elder Long the ability to minister the word of God on a Global platform through modern-day technology.
In 2013, Pastor Long, founded IronMAN ministry and the Arrow Academy in the upstate of South Carolina, these ministries are designed to provide an atmosphere conducive to younger and older men of various backgrounds an opportunity to worship and praise together. These meetings also allow space and time for men to gleam from each other in a non-threatening, safe, and healthy spiritual and social atmosphere.
Pastor Long was ordained an Elder in the Lord's Church by his spiritual father, Bishop Randolph (Randy) L. Borders's and the Bishops and Overseers of Harvest Church and Ministries International. Elder Long has served as a Jurisdictional Elder and Overseer of Protocol and Ecumenical Affairs. Today, Pastor Long serves Rock Hill Baptist Church II Greenville, SC.
Pastor Long's passion is helping others discover the greatness within themselves. His mantra for life is "Empowered to Serve" which is taken from Matthew 23:11. "But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant." As a minister of the gospel and servant of Jesus Christ his desire is to take spirituality, and make it practicality, so that it can be a 21st Century Reality!
